Upcoming Conferences

The multidisciplinary conferences attended by Head Start Knowledge and Information Management Services (HSKIMS) are gatherings of Head Start and Early Childhood experts. The conferences are an excellent means of sharing information, as well as keeping abreast of new developments in Head Start and Early Childhood, and thus gather ideas related to the Head Start community. HSKIMS exhibits under contract to the Office of Head Start and provides displays for the Administration for Children and Families as well.

Head Start Center Locator

The Head Start locator is a searchable directory that provides locations, addresses, and driving directions for Head Start programs, centers, and grantees. To find a Head Start or Early Head Start program near you, begin your search by entering the city and state information.

Head Start Program Directory

The Head Start program is administered by the Office of Head Start, Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Agencies that receive grant awards directly are referred to as Grantees. Grantees may contract services to other agencies, and these programs are referred to as Delegates. This searchable directory displays the Grantee program name and, when applicable, the Delegate program name listed below. Head Start and Early Head Start programs are identified, as are programs designed to serve unique populations such as American Indian Alaska Native (AIAN) and Migrant and Seasonal Head Start.

ARRA Program Locator

You can use the Head Start ARRA Program Locator to find programs that have been funded through expansion awards under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
