Scaled Family Assessment Tools
Tools to Strengthen Families and Communities

Abstract

A Scaled Family Assessment Tool is an invaluable first step in building a long-term relationship with a family. Agency leadership, managers, and family workers will all find this tool useful for tracking cross-family trends, family service needs, levels of support, progress towards goals, and data on family strengths and needs. A scaled tool also informs agency-wide success by quantifying both family and community needs, risks and strengths.
