Abstract

Reading with children can dramatically improve their ability to read. Family services staff can share the information in this booklets with parents. Information for parents includes ways to help children be ready to read and learn, and strategies for creating strong readers.

Parents reading with their children Talk to your infant and toddler to help him learn to speak and understand the meaning of words.
