On June 12, 2009, your TV signal will switch to digital. This switch will change how you watch TV. The fact sheet below explains what parents need to know about the switch from analog to digital television.

DTV.gov logo On Your TV signal is switching to "digital." For more than 50 years, TV broadcasters have sent their shows to your TV using "analog" signals.
