Building a Success Ladder
 

Head Start provides many opportunities to develop new skills and gain experience. Parents can use this activity to create their own success ladder. This worksheet includes a sample of a ladder. The first steps depend on your level of skills and abilities.

  Plan the health & wellness fair Work full-time as teacher aide Attend nursing school  
Attend college-CDA class
Coach a soccer team Participate in program self-assessment Begin a home business Obtain scholarship to local junior college Obtain CPR & First Aid certification
Organize a Brownie or Cub Scout troop Serve as part-time kitchen help at Senior Center Attend clerical class Get U.S. citizenship
