The Vaccines for Children Program (VCF) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides vaccines either free or at low cost to eligible children from birth through age 18. On this CDC web site, Head Start health managers and parents can find answers to basic questions such as which children are eligible, what the costs are, where you can get VCF vaccines, and which diseases they prevent. The fact sheet also provides phone numbers for an English and a Spanish hotline service for more detailed information.
