All institutions listed in this database with 2-year and 4-year degree programs are currently (as of most recent update) accredited by regional accrediting bodies. The National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) accredits 4-year institutions. Most of the 4-year institutions included here have NCATE accreditation.
