General Introduction to the Toolkit for Programs and Consultants
Welcome to the National Head Start Consultant Directory Toolkit. This dual purpose resource is designed for programs and for consultants.
Part
One – Programs . This section assists Head Start/Early Head Start programs as they assess their consulting needs and seek to hire the appropriate consultant to address their concerns. It offers tips on using the consultant directory, making the most of consultants, and contracting.
Part
Two – Consultants. This section is designed to assist Head Start/Early Head Start consultants who are listed in the National Consultant Directory. It offers guidance on completing the work, proper conduct, and consultant contracts.

Three – Resources for Programs and Consultants.
This section includes resource materials to support the resource needs of both programs and consultants.
