Sec. 215.47 Contract Administration
Uniform Administrative Requirements for Grants and Agreements with Institutions of Higher Education, Hospitals, and Other Non-Profit Organizations
 

The Contract Administration section of the regulations provides instructions on how to monitor contracts to ensure conformance with the contract’s conditions and specifications. Grantees should evaluate the contractor’s performance and should document, as appropriate, whether contractors have met the terms, conditions and specifications of the contract. They will find this regulation useful in developing procedures and managing contracts.


Sec. 215.47 Contract Administration

A system for contract administration shall be maintained to ensure contractor conformance with the terms, conditions and specifications of the contract and to ensure adequate and timely follow up of all purchases. Recipients shall evaluate contractor performance and document, as appropriate, whether contractors have met the terms, conditions and specifications of the contract.
