Sec. 92.36 (4) Procurement


This section focuses on a review of proposed procurements to avoid purchase of unnecessary or duplicative items. Grantees will find this section beneficial when purchasing goods and services. The section also focuses on conduct analysis of lease versus purchase alternatives to secure the most economic approach.

Sec. 92.36 (4) Procurement Grantee and subgrantee procedures will provide for a review of proposed procurements to avoid purchase of unnecessary or duplicative items. Consideration should be given to consolidating or breaking out procurements to obtain a more economicalpurchase. Where appropriate, an analysis will be made of lease versus purchase alternatives, and any other appropriate analysis to determine the most economical approach.
