Sec. 92.36 (6) Procurement


This section of 45 CFR Part 92 encourages grantees to use Federal excess and surplus property in lieu of purchasing new equipment and property. Grantees will find this information useful when trying to contain costs within their programs.

Sec. 92.36 (6) Procurement Grantees and subgrantees are encouraged to use Federal excess and surplus property in lieu of purchasing new equipment and property whenever such use is feasible and reduces project costs.
