This publication provides the Davis Bacon Wage Determination Database, which contains wage determinations made by the U.S. Department of Labor under the mandate of the Davis-Bacon Act and related legislation and alerts. Directors and management staff, as well as other Head Start staff, will find The Department of Labor determines prevailing wage rates for construction-related occupations in most counties in the United States. All Federal Government construction contracts and most contracts for federally assisted construction more than $2,000 must contain Davis-Bacon wage determinations.

Now Available from NTIS — Davis-Bacon Alerts Service

The new Davis-Bacon Alerts Service feature allows subscribers to create a Davis-Bacon Alerts Service account by selecting up to 20 wage decisions, or an entire state. Then, whenever an update to the Davis-Bacon Wage Decisions Database occurs the subscriber will have a copy of the newly updated wage decision automatically delivered to their desktop via email.

For instructions to set up your Davis-Bacon Alerts Service account, please call to subscribe: 800-363-2068 (703-605-6060).

Once your Davis Bacon Alert Service account is set up, each week, you will receive the corresponding State & County Index file even if the selected wage determinations have not been modified. The selected wage determination and or the corresponding State & County Index file will be available by 9:00 am of the publication date.

This new functionality is an added feature to your existing Davis-Bacon Wage Decision Database subscription. Davis-Bacon subscribers are encouraged to watch this site for more information regarding the release of new valuable features to the Davis-Bacon Wage Decision Database.
