INFORMATION MEMORANDUM
TO: Head Start Grantees and Delegate Agencies
SUBJECT: Publication of the Head Start Automation Manual
PURPOSE:
Attached to this memorandum is a copy of a publication entitled the Head Start Automation Manual. Several earlier chapters of the Manual were mailed separately as they were completed. This mailing includes all chapters of the Manual, bound in one volume. The Manual brings together information on a variety of topics around a central theme - the use of computers by Head Start programs. The material in the Manual was current as of the time it was written. However, the reader should be aware that improvements in computer software and hardware occur all the time. Prior to making decisions on which computer systems meet your needs, Head Start decision makers should obtain up-to-date information on available products and services.
