SUBJECT: Early Childhood Study Findings

INFORMATION:

In 1995, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Consumer Service, Office of Analysis and Evaluation conducted a study of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) participants and providers. Head Start programs, Child Care Centers, and private homes were included in the study.

The study also presents information related to nutrition knowledge and practices of CACFP food preparers.

Enclosed is a complimentary copy of the study's summary of findings.
