SUBJECT: 2000 National Conference for New Directors

INFORMATION: The Head Start Bureau is pleased to invite new Head Start and Early Head Start Directors to the 2000 National Conference for New Directors. This conference will be held in Washington, D.C. from February 7 - February 11, 2000. The purpose of the conference is to provide a national orientation for new directors. The target audience is Head Start and Early Head Start grantee and delegate agency directors who have been in their present position less than two years (and who did not attend this conference in a prior year). If you are a new director, and have not yet received conference registration material, please contact the conference contractor as soon as possible. Conference Contractor:   PaL-Tech, Inc.

Conference registration is due by January 14, 2000 and you must make your hotel registration by December 31, 1999. I encourage all new directors to attend this conference.
