INFORMATION MEMORANDUM
TO: Head Start/Early Head Start Grantees and Delegate Agencies
SUBJECT: Extension of the Effective Date for Head Start Vehicle Requirements
INFORMATION:
The President recently signed P.L.109-234 which contains a provision extending the effective date of complying with the requirements of 45 CFR Part 1310.12; i.e. that children are transported in school buses or allowable alternate vehicles, from June 30, 2006 to December 30, 2006.
