Abstract

This legislation protects the rights of individuals with disabilities in ensuring access to public services. Administrators, technical assistance providers, and Regional Office Staff will find specific language regarding Federal regulations describing expectations. Adults with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities will find information to advocate for themselves in programs. Topics discussed include employment, education, health, welfare, and social services, and the appendices include analysis and guidelines for service provision.
