Disabilities Service Plans
 

The disabilities service plan guides all services for infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities and their families. Program staff will find resources that explain the purpose and requirements for developing and implementing the service plan. These resources are related to the subjects listed below and are based on the Head Start Program Performance Standards.

Accountability
The disabilities service plan documents how needs and activities for serving children with disabilities are to be evaluated. This section provides resources and information for measuring how well disability services are implemented.

Collaboration
The Head Start Program Performance Standards require programs to collaborate and coordinate with other educational, health, and social service agencies in their delivery of services to children with disabilities.
