Abstract
By the time a child reaches one, an infant should start to get shy in public, explore objects in different ways, and sit without assistance. To assist in determining whether a one-year-old child is reaching these developmental milestones, Learn the Signs. Act Early. has developed this sheet for parents, teachers and other staff members. It also offers indications of red flags to be discussed with a physician.
The following fact sheet is provided courtesy of the Centers for Disease Control's Learn the Signs. Act Early. Campaign.
