Developmental Disabilities

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) offers a web site, MedlinePlus, that provides authoritative answers to family questions. Head Start parents, health and disabilities coordinators and all program staff will find Developmental Disabilities a key resource that provides contact information for organizations dedicated to these conditions, an easy to understand overview and information on prevention, screening, coping, specific conditions such as Developmental Dyspraxia, clinical trials, and pertinent laws. This site also provides a link to the state resources page on the National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities web site.
