Four Easy Lessons in Safe Food Handling

Food contamination is common. The “Be Food Safe” campaign of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) would like families to follow these four lessons: clean, separate, cook, and chill to prevent harmful bacteria from making families sick. Health managers, nutritionists, parents, and staff who prepare food in childcare settings may use this brochure as a reminder to handle food safely.
