The Office of Head Start (OHS) hosted a live webcast on the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) to discuss the regional trainings being conducted and to discuss how CLASS can be used by Head Start programs in professional development and quality improvement efforts. Topics included an overview of the CLASS instrument, OHS plans related to CLASS, and discussions regarding the research behind CLASS and using the CLASS instrument as a professional development tool.
