Steps to Success Facilitator Guide Unit 1 Module 2: Early Literacy and Language Development with Infants and Toddlers (TVI)
 

Early literacy and language development markers aid teachers in guiding infants’ and toddlers’ early literacy skills development. Through Clip 6 of the Unit 1 Tutored Video Instruction (TVI), Mentor-Coaches will look at these markers and activities that support and encourage early literacy in the classroom. Observation video from infant and toddler classrooms shows how teachers promote early literacy and language development through books that explore vocabulary and how teachers’ interactions with children can further their language and literacy development.
