Pre-Observation Conference

 

Throughout the pre-observation and observation processes, it is important that Mentor-Coaches keep the focus on the protégé and her work, not on the students. Clip 3 of the Unit 2 Tutored Video Instruction (TVI) provides Mentor-Coaches with a detailed look at strategies that make pre-observation and observation a success; planning, using tools to implement an objective observation, and recording everything she sees and hears. The TVI panel shares their own experiences with the pre-observation process and the tools they use in the pre-observation step.
