Reflective conferencing is a quality conversation between protégé and Mentor-Coach. Clip 4 of the Unit 3 Tutored Video Instruction (TVI) demonstrates for Mentor-Coaches how they can encourage protégés to be more reflective in their practice. The TVI panel suggests that a reflective conference is most effective when the participants prepare in advance, set goals, explore challenges, strategize next-steps, and the Mentor-Coach guides the protégé to make connections between their practice and children’s learning.
