Mentor-Coaches will often use self-assessment in their post-observation analysis to devise a plan for a reflective conference so it is most helpful for their protégé. In Clip 3 of the Unit 3 Tutored Video Instruction (TVI), Mentor-Coaches will see how one Mentor-Coach helps a home-based protégé by using post-observation analysis to prepare for a reflective conference. Post-observation analysis provides the Mentor-Coach with time to think back on the observation and develop a strategy for discussing the observed instruction.
