Teachers are best able to support language development when they understand the developmental continuum and then target individualized support. Mentor-Coaches will learn, from Clip 1 of Unit 3 Tutored Video Instruction (TVI), strategies to get teachers to reflect on their practice as they support infants’ and toddlers’ language development. The panel provides examples for how Mentor-Coaches can help protégés support language development in the classroom as well as during a home visit.
