This program explores the knowledge, skills, and behaviors, which create successful Policy Councils. This twenty-two minute video is designed to prepare Head Start parents and community representatives to be effective Policy Council members. Based on real stories of representative Policy Council members, the training package includes: a close-captioned videotape, facilitator’s manual, participant workshop materials, and a set of overheads to make transparencies. The workshops are designed to follow the viewing of the video
