By illustrating how five Early Head Start (EHS) sites provide services to meet the needs of children and families in their communities, this 20-minute streaming video provides an overview of the development and implementation of the EHS program. This resource for local EHS programs, Federal staff and trainers shows families and staff discussing: promoting early literacy, supporting the role of fathers, and meeting the challenge of developing collaborative services. Early results from the EHS longitudinal study are featured.
