FY 2011 Office of Head Start Monitoring Protocol and Guides

The FY 2011 Monitoring Guides that accompany the Protocol have been developed to organize the evidence gathering process. The evidence collected through each Guide is linked to Compliance Indicators and Frameworks within the Protocol. The Guides are organized by protocol section and the method by which information is gathered (document review, interview, observation).

The Protocol is available in two separate formats. It can be accessed as one document (Standard Protocol) or by service area (e.g., Health, ERSEA, etc.).

The FY 2011 Office of Head Start ARRA Protocol and Guides is available as a separate document. This protocol is a subset of questions from the FY 2011 Protocol plus approximately ten unique questions selected to understand the use of ARRA funding by grantees.
