The research institute, sponsored by Regions V, VII, VIII in April 2002, focused on the structures, strategies and techniques to enhance the skills and practices of teachers. Designed as a follow-up to the National Child Development Institute in 2000, this cooperative distance learning activity covered: child assessment, sequence of teacher development, organizational structures that support teacher development, and appropriate assessments. The videos can extend Head Start's continuous learning environment.
