Birth-to-five programming is the concept of providing continuous and coordinated care for children and families participating in Head Start throughout pregnancy and for as long as Head Start remains an appropriate setting for a child during the first 5 years of life. Program administrators, community members, staff and parents can review the benefits offered by these comprehensive programs.
