1st National Birth to Five Leadership Institute

The Office of Head Start's 1st National Birth to Five Leadership Institute, held October 3rd to 5th, 2011 in Washington D.C., lived out its theme:

Leadership is learned, and leaders develop through challenging work and by observing other leaders in action. Now more than ever, Head Start leaders must face old and new challenges with purpose and innovation. Current leaders must inspire and mentor their colleagues to fill the pressing demand for effective future leaders.
