Participating Program Activities
Twenty-two programs are designated to implement the EHS for FCC framework. Each program:
- Identified a two member partnership team comprised of one person representing the Early Head Start program
- Selected, in partnership with ZERO TO THREE, a local Child Care Partnership Coordinator (CCPC) who will facilitate the implementation of the team’s work plan in their community and provide site-specific, individualized professional development and consultation for up to 52 hours each month
Between January and October 2011 each program will:
- Develop a project work plan with the action steps and expected outcomes
- Leverage state and local resources to support quality for FCC providers
- Work with their CCPC to obtain materials, supplies and/or staff/provider professional development that support the implementation of the program’s work plan
- Participate in two one and half hour interactive Webinars
- Participate in regular telephone and conference calls to discuss issues and assist in evaluating the framework
- Access a dedicated listserv on a regular basis

Child Care Partnership Coordinators (CCPC's) Project Activities
Each Child Care Partnership Coordinator (CCPC) will facilitate the implementation of the work plan in their community. Each CCPC will:
- Provide site-specific, individualized professional development and consultation for up to 52 hours each month
- Participate in two one and half hour interactive Webinars
- Participate in regular telephone and conference calls to discuss issues and assist in evaluating the framework
- Assist programs to develop a project work plan that indicates the action steps and expected outcomes.
- Facilitate the implementation of the work plan.
- Assist in coordinating and or linking family child care providers, child care staff, and EHS grantees to professional development opportunities
- Submit requests for funds to purchase materials, supplies and/or staff/provider professional development opportunities that support activities indicated in program work plans
- Submit monthly reports to ZERO TO THREE indicating the training and technical assistance provided to program, emerging needs, and quality improvement indicators
- Access a dedicated listserv on a regular basis
- Disseminate program results when requested
