Case consultation is a case management technique that allows family service workers to draw on the perspectives and experience of supervisors, colleagues, and partners as they strive to provide families appropriate services and support. These tools present Head Start managers and family workers with useful strategies for case consultation training and developing a structure for the case consultation process. The Case Consultation Presentation Guidelines and Case Recordings help family workers organize a family’s information and share these details in consultation to ensure proper services are provided.
