There are benefits to breast-feeding for both mother and child. The Office of Women's Health (OWH) of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) developed a series of booklets which offer tips to mothers who want to breast-feed their newborns. Health care staff and early child care staff may provide this booklet to educate expectant mothers on the benefits of breast-feeding.
