WIC Learning Online: Food and Nutrition Service

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) offers on its web site on-line learning modules to train staff working in WIC. These modules address topics that Head Start health and nutrition coordinators and their staff will find pertinent to their programs. Topics include: communicating with low literacy audiences, working in a multicultural environment, program outreach, support services, nutrition education, feeding infants and children safely, and breastfeeding promotion and support.

Welcome to WIC Learning Online, a series of 12 online modules designed to train all levels of staff working in the WIC program. This course is approved by the American Dietetic Association for 4 CPE credits and is a joint project of the USDA/Food and Nutrition Service, NAL/Food and Nutrition Information Center, and the University of Maryland.
