Pacific Islands Childhood Caries Prevention Project-Innovation and Improvement Project Grant

The Pacific Islands Early Childhood Caries Prevention Project (PIECCPP), an Innovation and Improvement Project (IIP) grantee funded by the Office of Head Start in collaboration with University of Washington and six U.S. Associated Pacific Island states, has developed materials to improve rural dental health services that benefit children enrolled in Head Start and early childhood education. These resources were created to educate staff and parents on how to prevent early childhood tooth decay in young children.
