Volcanic eruptions occur when the gas pressure within them intensifies and causes flying rock, ash, lava, and poisonous gases to flow outward. Head Start programs, families, and community partners located in areas affected by volcanic eruptions may use these tips to locate resources before, during, and after this natural disaster.
