Marvelous Explorations Through Science and Stories (MESS)
Teachers may use this guide and recommended materials as a resource to respond to children’s interest and curiosity as they explore the properties of everyday substances found in the kitchen. Through planned explorations, teachers will engage children in the process of scientific inquiry. Teacher background information, specific vocabulary, and a list books provide a comprehensive resource.
