Program Information Report (PIR)

The Office of Head Start Program Information Report (PIR) provides comprehensive data on the services, staff, children, and families served by Head Start and Early Head Start programs nationwide. All grantees and delegates are required to submit PIR for Head Start and Early Head Start programs.

The 2016–2017 PIR Form is now final. The final PIR Form is identical to the Advance Copy PIR Form 1.0 issued in August 2016, other than updated Head Start Program Performance Standard reference links. Please see the Change Highlights document for specific notes on these changes.

The deadline for submitting the 2016–2017 PIR to the Office of Head Start is Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017. The 2016–2017 PIR is now open for reporting.
