The Flu: A Guide For Parents

Influenza also known as flu is an infection of the nose, throat, and lungs that is caused by an influenza virus. It can spread from person to person and the sickness continues for about a week. Young children, pregnant women, older adults, and people with chronic health problems can get very sick or be presented with life threatening concerns.
