Office of Head Start Leadership Institute
The 2017 Office of Head Start Leadership Institute will take place at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, IL on April 6 and 7, 2017. This year's theme is "Leading Quality." The 2017 Office of Head Start Leadership Institute builds on the success of the previous Office of Head Start (OHS) Leadership Institutes in 2011 and 2013. The sessions will target program leadership's role in understanding and implementing the Head Start Program Performance Standards with their staff, governing body, and parents.
The conference program will be planned and presented by OHS and the National Training and Technical Assistance (T/TA) Centers with expertise in the key areas of interest and target audience needs.
There is no registration fee for the Office of Head Start Leadership Institute.
Who Should Attend?
The Institute is geared for Head Start and Early Head Start executive and program directors and leaders. It is open to all grantees (and delegate agencies) serving children ages birth to 5 and to all program options.

The Institute will begin the morning of Thursday, April 6 and end Friday, April 7, 2017 at 4:30 p.m.

Immediately following the Leadership Institute, National Head Start Association’s 2017 Annual Conference and Expo will take place at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. It will be held Saturday, April 8 to Monday, April 10, 2017.
