Duties:

The Opportunity Alliance is seeking an Education Technician II for our Head Start program. Head Start promotes the school readiness of young children from low-income families through local programs. Head Start and Early Head Start programs support the mental, social, and emotional development of children from birth to age 5.

This position will collaborate with the Lead Teacher and Education Technician I to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment, primarily in a center-based classroom, for the overall growth and development of children. With guidance from the Lead Teacher, this position will implement interventions to support individualization of instruction, IEP plans, and any other special considerations. The Education Technician II has a primary caseload of children & their families.

This is a full-time, 37 hour position based in one of our Portland classrooms. This position is 44 weeks/year from August through June.
