Duties:
Head Start Teacher Assistant -Cochiti Pueblo
Teacher Assistant demonstrates competency to perform functions that include responsibility for continuing pre-planned classroom activities in the absence of the Lead Teacher. Responsible for administering planned instructional activities and evaluates children as directed by the Lead Teacher.
Qualifications:
- Must have successfully completed the 45 Hour class based on Statutory Degree and Credentialing Requirements for Head Start Teaching Staff (ACF-IM-HS-18-12)
- High School Diploma
- At least a Child Development Associate credential; Enrolled in a program leading to an Associated or BA Degree or Enrolled in a Child Development Associated credential program to be completed within two years.
- Individuals must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
