Duties:

Join us as a Child Start Assistant Site Supervisor where you will contribute to the overall leadership and supervision of our Early Head Start home visiting program. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures, state licensing requirements, and Early Head Start/USDA regulations. In addition, you may have the opportunity to serve as an interim site supervisor in the absence of regular staff. Come and make a meaningful impact while upholding high standards of compliance!

Qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Management, Human Services, or related field, with a minimum of nine credit hours in Early Childhood.
  • Experience: One to three years’ experience in Head Start or other ECE program, plus proven leadership experience.  Strongly prefer at least one year’s experience in supervising staff.
  • Ability to build rapport with parents and staff.
  • Ability to drive as requested to home visits needing coverage and/or support, as assigned.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Ability to handle stressful and sensitive situations professionally.
  • Ability to determine and prioritize workload while being flexible to emergent/unplanned needs and situations.
  • Ability to interpret and implement complex policies and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work cooperatively as a team leader and team member.
  • Knowledge and sensitivity to cultural differences.
  • Computer literacy.

  • Child Start's Assistant Site Supervisor is $21.89 per hour, 40 hours per week and 52 weeks per year.
