Crossroads Youth & Family Services, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Program Director to serve its Head Start and Early Head Start program in Comanche County. Under the general supervision of the Head Start/Early Head Start Program Director, the Head Start/Early Head Start Assistant Program Director assists the Head Start /Early Head Start Program Director in administering the Head Start program.
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, human services, or related field required; minimum two (2) years supervisory and program operations experience, including program evaluation, and the use of management information systems; leadership ability and good interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to work as part of a team, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, receive and provide feedback, and manage dynamic interchanges in meetings; ability to develop and manage a budget; knowledge of community resources, methods and practices of health and safety precautions, providing age-appropriate education services and facilitating family involvement in program services; knowledge of and ability to comply with Head Start Performance Standards; computer literate. Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
