Duties:

This position provides high-quality, educational experiences to enhance school readiness that comply with the North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education and Head Start Performance Standards. 

Qualifications:

Education and Training  

  • Minimum: Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, actively working towards a baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services or a related field.
  • Preferred: Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services or a related field. 
  • Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education.

Experience

  • Two years of teaching experience within a NC licensed 5-star child care facility/program. Head Start experience preferred.
