Programs, at their discretion, can choose to use OHS-trained consultants to facilitate the planning and implementation of an EHS-CC Partnership or an EHS Expansion.
Implementation Planner Directory Available!
The National Center on Program Management and Fiscal Operations (PMFO) has established a directory of implementation planners. This is one component of the Office of Head Start's (OHS) and the Office of Child Care's (OCC) efforts to ensure that funded EHS-CC Partnership and/or Expansion grantees have the support they need to provide high-quality services to infants, toddlers, and their families.
To access the Implementation Planner directory, please send a request to pmfo at ecetta dot info. Once a request is received, information on implementation planners will be sent. EHS-CC Partnership and/or Expansion grantees can then determine if there are planners whose background will complement their program’s strengths, challenges, and needs. Grantees are responsible for contacting the planners to arrange consultation services, including terms of work and fees for services. Implementation planners may be hired to support start-up as well as ongoing program operations.
Fiscal Consultant Initiative (FCI)
Fiscal Consultants are deployed by the National Center for Program Management and Fiscal Operations’ (PMFO) Fiscal Consultants Initiative (FCI) through a regional OHS referral process. The fiscal consultants are able to deliver services related to systemic fiscal and facilities management, including EHS-CC Partnerships, via virtual technology, telephone consultation, fiscal institutes, or on-site visits. Fiscal services provided by the FCI are delivered at no cost to the grantee. Contact your regional OHS program specialist for more details.
