Head Start Mental Health Services Newsletter: September 2016: Trauma, Toxic Stress, and Resilience

Head Start and Early Head Start, child care, and home visiting programs’ staff can play a key role in helping families across the country who are coping with traumatic events. During difficult times, early care and education and home visiting programs can offer needed support to help reduce stress. Programs can also promote children’s and families’ resilience.
